Title: amc 360 missing at high speed.
Post by: Eagle Jeeper on May 21, 2009, 10:59:08 PM
Just like it says when I get up to speed its like the motor just bucks really bad. the combination is an amc 360/tf727/dana300.  I just put it in the jeep but it came out of my old jeep and ran fine.  I just did the TFI ignition upgrade and seems to idle not bad.  WHen you punch it, it catches right away its just seems like when the tranny is in high gear is when the problem is.  Any ideas would be great.

THanks

Just a thought but could an improperly adjusted kickdown cable have this effect, or also the carb

Fuel pump? might not be able to deliver enough fuel at speed
