In June I'm planning on taking my wife out for a long road trip to experience the beautiful nature of Canada and the Rockies, so far I am planing on going through Banf, lake Louise, Athabasca Falls the Ice glacier, jasper, then stop over in Grande Cache where I grew up and make our way down to West Edmonton mall and stop over in Drumheller at the Dinosaur museum.
Just wondering if anyone has any other great suggestions that we should consider stopping at? last time i've been around the areas mentioned above was when i was 15, so i don't remember all the good places to go see. any suggestions would be much appreciated.
thanks

Johnston Canyon ... Takakawa Falls ... and Peyto lake are pretty good stops

try and hit a couple of the hot springs (Banff or jasper) they are a great way to relax after driving all day.

If you are going to Grand Cashe then check out kakwa falls , Last time i was there a stock four wheel drive could get you in. Just as impressive as takakawaw falls but way more water flow.and no touristos in the back country :)
