Hi,
I have someone that is selling half of their 7" Rock Krawler Kit (Control arms, Coils. track bar, pitman arm, brake
lines and shocks) for a good price. My problem is that it's a kit from a 99 TJ. THe kits on the website say
97-02 and 03-06. Any idea the difference in the suspensions setup and etc between these years?

Biggest difference is the skid plate. They changed them in 03 to accomodate the bigger 241 Tcase that came in Rubicons. The mounting holes are different and the later skids hang lower.

I figured that was the only thing... maybe! I have to buy their skid plate anyways since the guy is keeping his for his 1 ton swap. Not a big worry there but Im hoping that the the new skid plate will work with the 97-02 control arm setup.

That I'm not sure about. I know with the Rubicon Express long arm kit... the arms were the same for all years it was the skid plate that was different

Spoke to Rock Krawler the other day, they hold me that the kits between 97-02 and 03-06 are exactly the
same except the skid plate is the only difference. Picked up a set of 7" X factor long arms and coils
for an awesome deal... the 2nd stage build begins lol
