has the rubicon always been offered with the 6spd and auto trans

It comes with the manual tranny as well

sorry man thats what i meant if it came with only the 6spd manual  or auto

They were offered with a 5 speed manual the first few years then a 6 speed. ;)

5-speed  was the nv3550, 6 speed was the nsg370, auto is the 42rle i believe
