for the 23 degree they remove the tires they tow it on,and i believe to make it 30 degree's they bolt the tires back on so it raises the top of the ramphigher causing more angle

The RTI ramp we have for the club is towed as a trailer, the wheels are removed at whatever event and the ramp used.  The wheels are re-installed and the ramp towed back to storage.  You dont ramp on it with the wheels on it

It was designed and built as a 23 degree ramp with wheels removed.

I'm not sure how much of a change the installed tires make but I doubt it adds much more than 2 - 3 degrees.

RTI = distance travelled up the ramp / wheelbase x 1000

for example the ZJ last year. 107" wheelbase i got 77" up the ramp so 77/107 = .719 x 1000 = 719. so i ramped 719..........

the YJ will be interesting this year shootin for 500 lol

yea i spent a year dialin gin the ZJ.... if i ran smaller tires' i'd have ramped better. the fenders got in the way ;)

the YJ has stock RE spring packs right now. i'll play with them this winter to dial them in .  who knows, maybe i'll ramp each corner and that'll soften em up a bit LOL

Just in case the newbies don't know the infamy of the CJA's ramp, it's time to repost an old video of the CJA's very first S&S

The best part was his female counterpart in the passenger seat, and he's so worried about her he turns away and shakes hands with the guys.

If it was me, I would probably still be running.    ;D

When he gave it a push he just wanted to rock the boat a little and was surprised that it went over. Not a lot of damage,  passenger morror housing and a scuff on the wrapping on the roll bar.
