Title: a Wrench Day?
Post by: ogilviexj on June 18, 2009, 10:14:14 AM: Anyone see a value in a Wrench day?

Basically it would be a day that we all get together, bbq, beer and tools, bring your swaps and gear clothes and spend the day repairing and upgrading our machines. I know that this is something that a lot of us do anyway, but having a "get together" is always fun. :)

If you had something like this, where would you have it, and who would you be inviting into your garage? How do you ensure no tools go walking away? :-\

Location is the one thing I was thinking of too. Lets talk connections then, anyone know someone that knows someone type of thing? maybe an old barn or something?

Post by: RedDog on June 19, 2009, 11:12:30 PM: I've got a very minor item to address (CB antenna mount location) that would take ten minutes to complete by people more in the know than I. That would be worth assisting others the rest of the day to me. Cold beer, Jeep chatter, new friends, etc. Excellent idea!
