So I'm going to get a rubicon express budget boost for 2" and a 1" body lift for that little extraness cus...its cheap. But i'm just wondering which should i install first. would doing one before the other make it easier? Thanks.
-
The installation of one will not affect the other

lott of 3" kits out there for marginally more coin than doing a body lift as well as a suspension lift............. then u can run a spring lift instead of spacers. i'd bet you like the spring lift a lot more

Check out NSOR.com of northridge, for a bit more you should be able to do a full suspension lift. Both these guys will do free shipping and have iit to you fairly quick

if you choose the BL route get the Daystar version. its a full body mount replacement made of poly. not that solid plastic puck the other companies use. it may be a bit more cash but it gives you new body mounts all around. TJ 1" BL are pretty slick and easy to do. the hardest part is cutting up your fan shroud. or you could just get and electric fan too;)
i was never a beliver in BL either. but they sure do make it easier to work on stuff when you have the extra gap over the frame to reach through with a wrench. or even to clean mud out. i wouldnt go over an inch though.
my no cents...

Thanks for the tips. but 3" lifts are alot more then the 2" and 1" BL are they not? all in all itll be about double the price. Ive found a good 2" spacer lift with shocks for roughly 300 (RE BB) and modern motors and National 4wd both have BL for 140. the cheapest 3" so far seems to be this one http://www.zoneoffroad.ca/default.cfm?fa=products&ProdCategoryID=4 for 600 GST in..plus shipping is a few bucks more... also would i not have to drop the case. more work and im not that experienced in the art. $300 may not seem like much...unlss you're a university student ;) but im up for more opinions from the experts. whats the "best cheapest" (money wise) 3" youve seen/heard of? is the 2" and 1" not worth it?

The first question to ask yourself is why are you lifting it?
If you want cheap, just start cutting pieces out of hockey pucks and use that for a body lift.
Of course, all that it'll do is let you run bigger tires. Of course, big tires are big money, and we've already established that you don't have a pile of that.
What I'd say is decide what you want your rig to do...then you can decide what to do to your rig.
A spacer lift + a body lift is a cheap way to clear bigger tires. But neither of those lifts will increase your wheel travel, so your ability to keep those tires on the ground won't be great. The body lift also won't get you any more clearance than you already have, as it leaves your frame, drivetrain, and damage prone parts exactly the same distance from the ground.

trust me man,i know the feeling of being a poor arse student. trust me though, it doesn't get better afterwards haha!
one thing i learned is don't bother trying to do something cheap to save a few bucks. if you want to run 33s with 4" of lift, i'd just sav e up for the 4". unless you think you can be happy with just a lil' budget boost and body lift. then go for it.
point of the story i guess is do it once. and do it right. don't get a 2" if you are just gonna crave a 4" nest year. then money spent on teh 2" was wasted..............
my .02
cheers

as to W sq. I already have 33's on bronco rims that i can adapt onto it. Im not doing to much offroad but i want the clearance basically for the tires. my friend found that theres no shipping on the zone lift so its about 603 to the door, which is about 100 more then the 2" and 1"....so i think ill go that way. thanks for the help yall and if you got any comments on the Zone lift please let me know (good o bad)
