I just installed a BDS 3 inch lift on my TJ, Everything is fine except now the shift lever hangs down towards 4 th slightly in neutral and tends to pop out of 2nd on occasion (only when first putting it in) and reverse just sucks. Basically every gear you have to shift back towards the rear bumper (2nd, 4th and R) , seems strained to stay in. It is annoying and probably not good for long term wear and tear. Of course this issue was a direct result of dropping the T case. Does anyone have any solutions for this problem? ???
Any answers or advise are greatly appreciated

Standard transmission right? IIRC the solution to this is trimming the boot on the shifter, the re should be a thread on jeepforum about it

Pull the boot and trim the sheet metal were the shifter hits.
