Title: Northridge 4X4
Post by: jeepers26 on July 25, 2009, 09:42:31 AM
I was wondering if Northridge was just a warehouse, do they have a store up in Ponoka?  Do you have to order everything online, or can you go to the warehouse directly?
any help would be great thanks.. ;)

warehouse front you can pick up parts directly and he will credit you shipping even though shipping is included in price.

Waytec and I were there yesterday, and met Mudmuncher from the EJC who happened by at the same time.  It's a just a warehouse, they were low on stock yesterday but stated they usually have more normally.  He also just broke his leg in three places, so things took a bit longer than usual for the invoices and stuff with him moving between the warehouse and house.  His wife was there too, and seems to be really involved in the business.

Excellent rapport and customer service....two very nice people to deal with.   ;D

Not hard to find, just give him a call or email...probably best to let him know you're coming anyway, right?  It IS a warehouse, not a retail outlet.

They have a huge truckload of stuff coming on monday, hopefully some of the stuff I have ordered in on that truck.  Might take him a bit to unload....

Dan is fantastic to deal with, very prompt service (returning phone calls, looking up parts and prices). Excellent service, I can't say enough about him!

I even stopped at his shop on a Sunday, returning from a trip, to pickup my order!

If you have a chance, give him a call and see what he can do for you! Always, all suppliers are at the mercy of the various vendors and manufacturers for shipping and timing. But otherwise if he doesn't have it in stock, he can get it, direct from vendor. Often with better prices because he does all his own customs brokerage.

Can't say enough good things about Dan and Northridge4x4.ca !!

My heep wears his sticker with pride!

Well....did some major damage to the visa today. That's the problem when you walk into a fairly well stocked parts/accessory place like Northridge, after dealing with no stock locations in Calgary! Drove up to Ponoka to pick up my Rockhard bumper/tire carrier.....left with the bumper, Rockhard sports cage, rear spreader bar, accessory bracket mount for GPS, and an Nth Degree oil pan skid plate. I was like a kid at Christmas LOL, until I realized that I had another $2200 on my visa....oh well, time to work some OT shifts at work.

Just another plug for North ridge 4x4 in Panoka for their continued GREAT Customer Service!

Contacted local shops for a couple of items, was told it would take 1 to 2 weeks, realistically I'd be lucky to see it in 4 weeks based on past experience.

Called North Ridge 4x4 Monday afternoon to place my order,  and by Wednesday morning they were at my door step.  and free shipping to boot 8) 8) 8)

Just got back from dropping my first couple of bucks at Northridge, STAN (NOT DAN) is great to deal with. He is extremely helpful and I have already ordered some other stuff. I will be going back in a couple of weeks, so if anyone either wants to tag along or have me pick them something up (using your cash not mine), let me know!! Nothing too big I do not want to break the old ladies Ford Escape bringing back axels or bumpers!!!

Stan is an awesome guy to deal with.  Ordered a aussie locker, turns out they where on backorder.  Got a lockright for the same price, here in 1 week!  Really impressed.

Meant to post this earlier but if anyone wants to save a couple of bucks on an order from Northridge, I am going tomorrow night and would gladly fill up the family wagon with stuff. No gas money required just a friendly thank you when you pick up from my place. Just place the order with Stan and let him know that Michael can pick it up for you!!! Nothing to large it is only a little escape...ie hard tops or axels however I am sure the old escape would look pretty good with a removable top and Dana 44's!!! Send me a PM if interested...
