i just had some hids installed and the drls are flickering and there is a loud buzz in my jeep, when i turn the headlights on both the buzz and the flicker goes away does anyone have a fix for this problem
-
what vehicle and year? it's simply because these headlights use much less power (wattage) and can trigger problems with sensors and stuff (similar to what happens when you have a burned out bulb somewhere). sometimes all it takes is a resistor soldered on or a computer programming from stealership.

2007 jk they had the flicker problem when the highbeams were on but fixed that problem i just know nothing about electrical so I'm lost in that department

My buddy had the same problem same year you need a relay to stop the buzzing

HID's flickering or buzzing is a common problem with JK's. The CANBUS systems that runs the electrics doesn't play well with HID's. Apparently you'll need to put a capacitor into the harness for your HID's in order to even things out a wee bit.
I can't recall the details (didn't look all that close at them since I don't really want to go with HID's in my JK), but if you search through the electrical section on project jk forums, I'm sure you'll find a hockey sock full of info on how to put HID's in your JK for that riced-out look ;D
