my question is who needs to go faster than 140km/hr when the max speed limit is 110, and why would you go that fast in a jeep?

Most (but not all) newer vehicles have governor's. A friend of mine is a chronic speeder and his '96 Chevy governs out at 160kph, my old mans '04 Chev also governs out at 160kph.

My '74 J20 on the other hand has no such governor...185kph is the max I dared to try....but she still wasn't done accelerating I just scared myself.  ???

Man I'd love to gank an engine out of a Cherokee, or HEMI Ram for my wrangler...
