I've been "shopping" for a lift for my JK for a while now - looking at options, reading reviews, talking to people that have various lifts installed...you get the picture. Between the breakover angle from the long wheelbase and all of the "helpful" comments about the JK rake, I'm eager to get a lift in - even if financial contraints mean that I'll have to keep running 32's until the spring.
I'm leaning towards getting an OME coil lift, probably ordering it from Northridge in Ponoka. They offer a package deal for people that purchase a pair of JKS trackbars along with the OME lift. Certainly not the cheapest option...but I've heard some VERY good feedback from people that run the same lift on their JK's.
The one thing that has given me pause here is that the JKS track bars are about $100 cheaper (for each one) than the Currie or Clayton track bars. That leaves me asking "where is JKS putting less material/using cheaper joints/taking shortcuts". Maybe I'm being a little paranoid - after all, my JK is still going to be my DD, I tend to be cautious when I'm wheeling, and I'm intending to run 35's when funds allow - no bigger.
If anyone's familiar with the vices and virtues of these JKS track bars vs. Currie or Clayton's offerings, I'd be eager to hear your input.

I put a BDS adjustable front trackbar on when I went to 3.5" and really like it. Its pretty darn beefy, both ends are rebuildable and has the heim joint on the end.

From what I can tell they look an aweful lot like my RE adjustable track bars, same thickness and such. I don't think you could go wrong with JKS.

fras, if its the same track bar we installed on yours, it used a tie rod end at the frame and a bushing at the axle. no hiems. the hiems are stock on the RE track bars, unless you get the double shear. the hiems would be ok cause they are easily replaceable, but wear out similarily quick.
Todd, JKS has a good rep (on the net at least) and their stuff looks decent. i think it'd be ok. i'd go for it.

Haven't heard anything bad about the JKS bars for average wheeling usage. Currie and Clayton just tend to make theirs out of heavier stock. I know Clayton control arms are about the biggest I've ever seen, it's nice to know they're finally making the rest the components needed for a real JK lift "kit", instead of just springs and arms that they offered since 07', maybe I'll have to do some more current research into their stuff.
