Title: Fix a cell phone?

Anyone have the technological knowhow to fix cell phones :?:   Apparently the power buttom on my wife's Nokia is buggered :roll:   Either respond here or give me a call 870-5718.

The Rogers store on the west side of Mcleode Trail just north of Chinook mall has a good tech that works in the back of the store.  If its a Rogers phone he might try to fix it.

Thanks but already talked to dat guy...wants $100 to fix it :evil:   Rogers said I could have it replaced for less then half that :roll: .  Hoping to find a cheaper fix 8) .

Pull it apart and try to fix it yourself.  Sometimes it just needs to be cleaned as they do get dirty under the buttons.  I used to have to fix my nokia from time to time.  If you bugger it up it is only 50 bucks!

probably a small soldering job.  i say crack it open and get in there with a small solder head.

I've been fixing cell phones since '87. Is that enough? That's longer than some of the younger folks around here have been alive :lol:  :lol:
