Title: Just going to introduce myself..

Hey,

Im new to the jeeping world, I just picked up a 2000 TJ Sahara with 85k kms...pretty noob-ie to jeeps, but I stumbled on this forum and look forward to learning a lot from you all!

This jeep has the 4" flares, I would like your opinion on whether or not I should use some 6" flares..

you should put that BB in to keep the tires off those nice flares!!!

You are right, I should, but I wont.

I want that AEV highline kit, being I DD it and use it in the field for work, I want to keep my maintenance costs low.  With that AEV kit, I think you can run a 34" tire on a stock jeep, using the stock suspension angles, so the suspension is doing everything it would normally from stock...and while it may be debated, in my history of 1/2 tons that had mild lifts vs ones that didnt, the lifted trucks always had more crap going wrong suspension-wise.

I didnt take a good pic of the wheels, but they are the limited edition (so they say) mickey thompson 15x10's,  and really are too wide for that tire, but I got a deadly deal on them at National and they alleged this was the last set in Canada.

You think I should put some 6" flares on to cover the tires?

I am hardly ever in the south, unless I am over by Heritage and Macleod.  I live in the NW, but work down by Claresholm often, so I pound out deerfoot a lot too..

Looks nice and clean - I've seen you around town as well - recognize the front plate I think
