Looking to do a run maybe to TOP OF THE WORLD, Mclean Creek on Saturday October 17. I don't know the area too well so would love it if some other more experienced people would join. My Bro will be visiting from Ontario and I want to take him on a run.

If I get my drive shaft back in and if I can find a spare back shock I will come along. That run was a lot of fun.

I would like to join, my Jeep is stock, can it handle this pirticular run? (06 TJ)

Should be fine as long as you have front and rear recovery points, a full size spare and good tread on the tires. There is one spot you will have to get pulled (depending on the way they go). There is a bypass around every obstacle.

depends on what trails you take to get there ;)
-
Thanks for the input, is there any trail/topo maps of this area?
-
I would be in for the 17th as well....
Set a time and place where to meet.

I would say that the usual 9:00am at the store is a good plan. And again...tow points front and rear...full size spare...and a CB would be good but an FRS radio may do if that is what you have. I am still hoping that someone that is familiar with the area will be joining us.

The forecast is for +21 on Saturday so it will be a great day to get out>
See you at Mclean Creek store at 9am on Saturday.

i will join in thin time for sure!
God bless, dont make me oversleep again.

It's been too long, I am definitely in for this run, Should be really muddy
-
i think you should replace 'muddy' with 'icy'
it may get to 12 degrees in the city but thast high hopes out there!
-
Might drag my junk out ;D
-
boggers on ice ought to be interesting ;)
-
its already been fun street driving

I'm looking forward to this run..probably my last until next season. I need to do some mods to the heep, like some d44's out of a waggy and maybe some low gears. Also want to build a front bumper with winch mount capabilities and put in an upper console with all lights, cb and winch switching built in.
-
im in providing i can get it off work ;D
-
Looks like I'm in too :)
-
Turns out I will not have a CB for this one. It burned up and warranty repair is gonna be like 6 weeks. I will bring my 2 FRS radio's.
-
Considering the strong possibility of ice, as opposed to snow and/or mud, out in McLean... are chains recommended for this run?
-
It' supposed to be 6 degrees overnight, 5 degrees in the morning and 15 in the afternoon at Bragg Creek.

If any of you have pictures pls send them to me.
