Post by: hamrtime on October 13, 2009, 12:05:16 PM
where are the drain holes located ? ,  in the past I've stuck the hose in upper frame holes in wheelwell area
and pretty sure it ran out along the bottom of frame rail under driver somewhere ... seems their plugged
and I cant find them ...

thanks in advance

There supposed to be holes in bottom side of frame by rear shackles, where they also tend to rust out. Add some new holes on bottom of frame at all low points.

been looking high/low and not a picture of where these might have been could I find

I know mine use to drain, they must have been smaller 1/4 or less hole(s) on each side

lots of frame rot pictures out there especially at the rear ... ouch

anyone got a picture of frame drain holes ?

Yj's don't have drain holes , nothing a drill wouldn't fix.

I drilled a pair of drains in both frame rails , 3/8"   I believe  , if they become obstructed with mud ,  I poke a screwdriver through while the garden hose is  is turned on , when I'm   flushing the mud out.
