how complicated is it to put a new fuel pump in a V8 grand cherokee?
-
I watched my neighbor do it on his GC this summer. It's a PITA. You have to remove the gas tank to access it.
-
PITA, trailer hitch has to come off, fuel tank dropped, filler and vent hoses disconnected, pump swapped and then everything done in reverse. There is an easier way that involves a cutoff wheel and a grinder if he doesnt mind a small patch after.
-
get a manual and just do it...........best way to learn for yourself if its hard or not.
-
Doug, the pump in my red one is still good. I'll need to cut from the top to get it, but it can be done. Let me know.

gotta talk to the old man ill let ya know dude ;D

I put on an easy 2" Spring Spacer Lift on my 01 Grand Cherokee for about 100. I easily fit 265/70 R16 tires. Probably could have went one size bigger.

You lookin for a cookie for that or something.....
