Title: Superior axle seals yj two piece

Looking to replace plastic disc axle seals on yj with something far better. Anyone have the outer end of the right hand axle w/vacuum disconnect I could borrow and measure up? Thinking of two-piecing RH superior axle
tube seal housing and pinning halves together, once in axle tube, nowhere for
parts to go.

Wouldn't it just be easier/cheaper to get a one piece inner shaft from Pick n Pull. to replace the two piece shaft.

My first thought was going to the one piece axle but hesitated spending more money on stock little diff. Tired of the stupid little plastic disc that is supposed to keep the muck awar from axle seals. Didn't want to tear mine apart just to measure
up axle but think I'll have time soon.

hey, if you want i've got a broken stub mike. the axle/seal etc, is all in tact, but the ujoint ears are broken off........... if you're measuring stuff it could work?

Is that the piece from u-joint in to the vacuum disconnect spline? I'd like to borrow it if you have it handy.

yuppers. like i said, its broken, but youcan use it for whatever you need for mockups!
