Anyone know the approx weight of the Rubicon's 16x8 moab alloy wheel? Thinking about moving up to a 16" rim. Currently running the typical 15x8 American Racing AR-767/Cragar 342 wheels.

The Moabs on my 03 Rubicon were about 24.5 lbs, maybe not exactly but I am positive they were between 24 & 25 pounds.
IMO, I would stick with 15" rims. The stock MTR's on moabs were 74+ lbs and the BFG AT 35's on AR rims were 69 lbs.

Thanks for the info. I think the 15" steelies I have now are around 27lbs. I can't believe how your 35's would be lighter than the 32's on moabs.

According to Tire Rack, the stock (245/75R16) MTR is 53 lbs and the 35 x 12.50/15 BFG AT is 54 lbs
The Moab rim is quite a bit heavier than the AR Baja rims I had, I believe they were only about 17 lbs each vs the Moab's 24+ lbs.

If anyone cares, new 265/75/16's on moabs is approx 77lbs. I'll weigh my used 31x10.5 and AR's tonight and see the difference.
