Title: jeep wont start help
Post by: giorno71 on November 10, 2009, 07:51:23 PM
i swapped out my 4 banger in my 94 yj for a 6 out of a 92 Cherokee  then it ran good for 4 months straight then it started to spit and buck at about 100 degrees . now it wont start at all so i decided to see if it was the computer, i hooked up the 4 cyl computer and it starts and idles fine for running only on 4 cyls . so i put my computer in my friends jeep ( 95 yj) and his starts and runs fine, try ed his computer in my jeep and same thing, no go .changed every sensor i can think of and pick up coil in the distributor. I'm at a real loss here

coolant is good,  bran new fuel filter, tryed a different fuel pump and no change.   fuel pressure for the 6 and 4 cyl is the same
