Can anyone help me or is there anyone in the north end of the city that has this t-case and is willing to let me crawl under it to shake their front drive shaft

I'm in the NE near Peter's drive in. You are welcome to come over after 5;30 pm. Or if you can cut out at work you are welcome 8 am - 5 pm near the Austrian club.  Neither have a heated garage.
My front driveshaft was just recently replaced so it might be a good reference for ya.
*edit* typo

I was just under my TJ checking out stufff and found that I have about 1/4" of play in the up and down plane. So if anyone does know if this is normal or if the driveshaft should be 100% tight please let us know.

Since you have noticable "play" at a standstill...What does it feel like at speeds? Any vibrations?
I thought these were held tight with bearings and/or shims, when those start to let go, it gets loose.... But I could be wrong.
