I am looking to talk to people that have put aftermarket headers on their 4.0L jeeps.
What did you use?
How did it fit?
How is it now?
How about the O2?
Second ... I want to run the 97-TJ style header pipe that goes in front of the oil pan. Just curious if anyone else has done this.
My stock header is cracking and will need to be replaced ... not noisy yet, but soon.
Mark.

I used a banks torque tube header, and was very impressed with it. Fit was very good, as was worksmanship. I don't know how it is standing up, as I sold the jeep a couple of months ago :(... But when I sold it, the header looked like new and it was running strong. Still kept the stock 02 sensor location, which on my 97 was just below where the header bolts to the exhaust pipe that loops the oilpan. And even if there is a problem with the header now, it had a lifetime warranty, so I wasn't worried about it at all.
