Title: Winter In Rural Canada...
Post by: Ostego on December 05, 2009, 07:29:21 PM
The storm started as some snow and some wind....then quickly I realized "CRAP! I'm going to be snowed in again I need a plow!"
Few hours, 50kph wind, and A LOT of snow later....

Buried barn and gas tower.

This is a 8' fence...so the drift is 9.5' ?

Some tractor...it aint moving until spring.

Fence never stood a chance.

Poor Ford...6" lift is not much help when its parked.

Wow hav'nt seen an AMC Eagle in ages. Use to have a couple. Still run? I'll see if I can find pics of ours burried under 6.5 feet, yes feet, of snow. Winder of 1991 in Moncton NB 6.5 ft in 24 hours!. Had to dig down to find the antenna to find the car.

Yeah she runs but needs a clutch master cylinder, muffler and some new tires...the ones on there are garbage.

Yep I had a bunch of Eagles back in the day as well. Good little cars. Thats why I bought my XJ, very similar drivetrains. Looking for an SX/4 project if anyone has one.

BTW good luck with that clutch master cylinder, I had to replace the one on my wife's 1981 SX/4 and had a hard time finding one and that was 10 years ago. Might be able to make a CJ one work.....

I'll scan one up for you it's on the farm right now cause our shop is full.
it's a red sx4 auto with a swapped 231 in it pretty good shape the only rust is on the rockers and about a 5 dollar bill size.
