hopefully someone will step up. Lots of new trails opened up at waiparous = lots of snow fun.
conditions out there are pretty good. icy in some spots and hills are always a challenge.
this means minimum requirements may be steeper than normal.
-
Im willing to lead it. How were the trails you guys did last weekend?
-
If this remains a 'stocker trip' the kids & I might likely join yous guys ;D.
-
i might be heading out there this weekend ill let you know how it goes and how it is
-
I will lead this, so long as its ok if I bring two friends with non-jeeps out on it.
-
your call.... you're leading, and it is an open run.
-
New Years Day Run could be fun. I will join you guys if you do that run. I wanted to do the boxing day run but I picked up a triple time day at work instead.
-
i hope i can make this one if there is space
im far from being stock but i dont mind a nice easy run from time to time
just nice to get out
-
i think i might want on on this if i am welcome. i am pretty sure my truck will be less than 7000 lbs. what type of wheeling will this be ? how deep of snow could guy expect ?
-
illl guess in some places up to 2 feet deep .. all trails should be run already so as long as you stay on the trail you should be in to deep
and the leader will be breaking trail or at least trying to depending on how bad it is out there
-
Hmmmm..... a low-rider leader. This ought to prove interesting.

Does that mean that you're showing up?

True, but I have what amounts to a snowplow on the front and some real power to move it with.

;) I may have to show up just to see how your snowplow and power theory works. The jeep needs some wrenching again so it depends on what I get done.
Cheers

haha i am out! 400-450 ft lbs of torque , 4 wheel drive, some insane christmas eve traffic +some asphalt = broken axle shaft and u-joint
-
and some real power to move it with.

I wish you had thrown down when I was still stock, Race City won't let me run a lifted Jeep for some reason.

That's because it's a load of BS Jeff. I ran the track in September of 08. There was an orange Ford F-250 on Bias ply 38" Swampers that ran the track. I've volunteered/drag raced/watched since 94. I've witnessed a lot of lifted trucks and SUV's race at that track. It's up to tech. You pass safety and pay your $25 to run. Simple. As for anything? No horse/buggy or riding lawnmower action.
Let's not derail this thread with my Jeep has this and that. My GC is better than your XJ(that's a good one ;)) Blah,blah,blah...
Raise your hand if you're coming to this run and SHOW UP!.Thanks to Fraser and his V8 mini-van for leading . Don't take flak from people for enjoying your Jeep in it's current state. You have fun on the trails and that's all that matters. Now go get some Trucknutz and hang it off your Jeep to show people that you are proud of your V8 power ::)
-
I should be out for this one!
-
I,m in like flynn. No hanging nutz on my jeep, that is so GAY
-
i'm down for attending. probably bring the I6 jeep though, and leave the V8 one parked at home
-

-

I always thought it would be fun to keep some pre-cut pieces of barbed wire in my rig to wrap around any truck nutz I see.
-
It does not look like I will get the wrenching I need to done in the next two days, so I am out for this run. :(
Also lots of family stuff happening that day. Next time boys, have fun.
Cheers

Don't worry about all the harassment. It sounds like allot of "displacement envy" I've heard non ZJ owners get it sometimes
