Title: Overload of fuel in throttle body

Hey  all, does anyone know if i can purchase that little peice on top of the throttle body?(1990 2.5l). we replaced the engine but CANNOT get the poor thing to run properly. while looking in the throttle body while it is idling(ish) i notice Tonns of gas pouring into the throttle body.more than what it looks like is neccesary. It doesnt idle terrible but as soon as  i go for a drive it just bogs right down almost like its choked or has too much gas or something? Would the timing also make a huge difference? i believe i got the distributer cap on fine and i can rev it up and down while it stands still and sounds great. only when actually under load(start to drive) it can barely move and coughs/sputters.ideas? thanks in advance! p.s there is a few vaccmn hoses i was unsure of and have tried to find places/plug/leave open but doesnt change anything??stumped.

was the old motor a 2.5 as well?

If I remember there is a vacuum line going to the distributor for timing advance, did you hook this up?

Seals on the injectors might need replaced, had the same problem on my gm 454 throttle body.  fuel would pour through, and once I rebuilt injectors, no more problem.  Hope this helps.

thanks for the advice. I got vacumn lines all over the place that im not sure of lol. Ill check that though makes sense.
