They totally copied the Clayton kit but they have bushings on the radiant arms instead of Johnny joints..... it sells for $949 US

Wow, get me some 3/4" Heims, and a set of Daystar bushings, and i could make that for you for about $200...I really gotta put my welder to use..cuz thats a $700 paintjob
-
I agree Aaron, although Currie sells the joints for $40 US a piece plus shiping (about $150 CAD by the time they get here) , it definately would not be worth your time and energy to sell it for $200. It's all about paying the rent bro!
Where the F@*K have you been anyway??? Still in the closet?

I like the Clayton arms better because of the rubber bushings on the LCA and the sphearical joints on the radius arms. Maybe they did that to get around patend infringements.
I guess the benifit to the Staang's units would be that they are cheaper ($900 CAD) and shipping would be in Canada so no duty and such.

I just bought the cross member and bnine & I built the arms with Johnny joints at both ends....
The only thing with this set up is it eats up bushing on the radius arms because it flexes so much. Billy and I cut the radius arms and built a 3 links system to solve the issue.
I love it ... it works like a darn!

this system is now for sale for 800$ on kijiji.......

I wonder how well it works long term without the frame stiffener Claytons kit uses.
-
They sell those too.
-
Stan at northridge can do clayton to your door for a hair over 900 canadian. For the small difference in price and the substancial difference in component quality I wouldnt touch that staang setup.
-
is that $900 for the complete kit? or just the upgrade kit?
-
its actually 800 now ;) and no it ain't complete Dana
