I just came back from BP's with the ols lady...saw an 88 MJ..junker..asked the guy if he wanted $1000 for it (has 31's and bushwacker flares)...no deal..but for $20 i bought the rear axle, gas tank skid plate out of the snow covered back of the truck.....the Rear end is a D44 with 3.54s and a traclock....any suggestions?
i was thinking put 4.10's in and a aussie locker and give it away at a cleanup, but not everyone has an xj/mj
Trade it for something i need or want...(rather work for what i want or need)
Sell it on ebay and donate anything over $20 to the childrens hospital..
I dunno..any ideas?
And "give it to me" is going to work....sorry

Sell it for $350. Seriously.
Not to me, though....I have one. 3.07's, but it is still an MJ Dana 44. I'm torn between keeping mine and swapping in some 2.5l XJ 4.10 axles....would likely pay for the axles.
Edit: Thinking a moment longer, toss it on Comanche Club. Someone might grab it.

Host an auction here/ebay/other jeep sites for the axle and Say that you're donating to the children's hospital.

How much for it? I am in the market for one. I can always move the perches for an XJ.

Aaron, auction it off and donate the proceeds to the childrens Hospital. It's a great thing to do.

if you are willing to part it out i am looking for the front skid plate to fit my xj.

Im going to put ZJ discs on it and replace the gears and set it up for an XJ, make her all pretty and then either sell it , or use as a raffle prize for a cleanup or something of that nature...proceeds will go to a good cause either way.
