going to start putting my seats/harness's in the Willys tonight was just wondering if there was a certain way mount the shoulder belts? i know if done wrong they can compress your back in a rollover and i really dont want that

DO NOT LISTEN TO ME AS I HAVE NOT DONE IT. But rumor has it don't mount it to the floor but even with your shoulders.

on xtreme 4x4 they say 1inch below shoulder level and mount the seat to the same thing as the belt (so if the seat belt is mounted to a cage the the seat should be too)
-
Can be mounted 1" above to a few inches below and to the same roll cage/and cross bar assemble that your seat is mounted to. Roll bar structure behind seat should have an X so that it cannot move sideways or fore and aft. Most seat belt suppliers have drawings or recommendations on there websites or consult tech sites for stockcar, road racing or NHRA sites. They go a lot faster and are regulated to a greater requirement.

thanks for all the info, after putting the seats where they used to be mounted i have to rework my rollcage as its been about 2 years since i last sat in the willys and in that time ive gotten alot taller, and i no longer fit in it haha
