i'v got a knock when i'm accelerating and someone is in the back seat anybody got any  ideas what this could be it in a 89 yj

Have you checked your u-joints lately?  Usually the one at the pinion goes first.  It could be the added weight of the passenger causes the angle to change just enough to make the noise
