I just read in the other post that Slim's son, Blair, was killed today in a work related accident.

My condolences to you and your family, Slim. I cannot even imagine the pain that you all are going through. Shelley and my thoughts are with you, and your loved ones.

I'd like to thank you all for your kindness, you don't no how much it means to Barb and myself. its nice knowing your thoughts and prayers are with us especially me as I make my way home off the road

Slim, as a parent I can't  imagine  the devastation you and your wife must feel.

Cherish the memory of the times you spent with your son.

Slim & family,

I don't know what to say.  Can't even begin to imagine what you are going through right now.  Sincerest & most heart felt condolences to you & yours!!!

Maybe there can be some comfort in thinking that Blair will be watching over all of you & those he loved & who loved him.  Only met him once but I was surprised at how close the apple fell to the tree.  You're 'stand up people, very respectable, & I'm sure Blair is too.  Remember all the good times & fun...I'm sure there are lots of fond memories.
