Title: Waiparous - Old CJA Camp

It's now closed?
Large rocks blocking entrance, is that supossed to mean closed? or an obstacle?

Ps. There appears to be many "jeep" symbol signs going up, new trails are openning up, good news!!!

I'm not really sure what time your post was made, but you should probably roll over and go back to sleep. Seems you're having impossible dreams. ;)

I for one would have to see the additional signs for myself. Especially if you've just noticed those boulders now. That is if you're talking about the boulders blocking the trail to the one crossing leading to Meadow Creek Trail.

There is no LEGAL random camping from the legal campsite before the gravel pit all the way to Hunter Valley Road.
Its all closed. HUGE sign indicating that as well.
So, yes the old CJA/Bogginfreaks camp site is no more. >:(

obviously doesn't stop people.......
when we did the bridge build in august/sept (cannot remember) we went through there (easiest way to get post pounder out there)  and it was full of random campers. looked like a lot of youngins.

glad to see the closures are working.

Yeah, the alternate entrance/exit to Meadow creek.

I have not seen it in a while but my dad was telling me about the boulders.

The random camping issue I can understand, just seems odd to close down the easier section. Both have random camping spots.
Trail projects, emergency exit, even SRD used that section instead of the "proper" trail...

Personally, I prefer the to run the slightly more difficult section  :)
I guess I'm not really surprised by anything SRD does, just seems odd.
