Hey everyone,
Ok, so I was driving and used my signal light to make a lane change and i heard a buzzer sound coming from behind the instrument panel. It continued for 10 mins while I was continuing making turns. 10 mins later I have no signal lights and my hazzards wont work either.
I looked at my fuse box and the signal fuse was blown. I replaced it and nothing got solved. I replaced both flashers ( black box ) on drivers side and passangers side. Still not resolved. But what did happen was.. you know the ticking noise your vehicle makes when having the turn signals on or 4 ways, thats the sounds that it makes all the time now with the hazzards on or off as well as the signal switch on or off. It doesnt go away. That was 3 days ago. This morning when I left work my blower does not turn on now on all settings and my cigarette lighter power doesnt work.
Its a 98 TJ 4l 160,000 kms. And in great condition... well thought it was.
Any help would be great, if I cant fix the problem would anyone like a quick side job?

Sounds like it could the igniti0on switch. Turn all the stuff on and play around with the key and tilt steering and see if any of it kick back on. Stick your head up along the steering column and see if there are any burnt wires coming off of the connector for the switch.
Did the fuse blow again when you replaced it? Are any other fuses blown?

They relays can make that buZz too

Thanks I will try it tonight. I did look around pretty good today and and found no burnt wires. The fuse did not blow again. But the brake fuse blew once and never again. When I bought the jeep it had a NuStart remote start in it. But it has always worked fine.

How is your blower switch on the dash. There was a write up in jp magizine last year on how to fix the switch.

can be a fuse under the hood as well, did you check them all? had a '95 grand that would either blow a fuse inside or under hood (random) and if it blew under the hood it would make most of the electrical inside do weird things.

Yes I did check under the hood as well. Im worried if there is a short somewhere...all fuses appear ok.
