So, I was surfing the interweb a few hours ago and i came across these
Mahrinda jeeps that are made in India. They really closely replicate the CJ3B, one of which I've been after for quite a while now. Apparently they started making these in 1953 and haven't stopped yet. I really want to get ahold of one of these, especially the "Bushranger" or "stockmaster" body style. They are updated 3b's with a diesel engine, exempt from emissions testing. Anyone know how I could possibly get one without going to India or Australia (where most of the stockmasters or bushrangers were sent)?
Thanx!

I know some people in India who might be able to help you export one. Personally I'd keep looking for a Willys...the Mahindras I saw in India were pretty cheap looking and it could be hard to get parts over here.

ya, i was just thinking, though, after talking to a guy from luxuryimports of this fine city, that the Mhandria jeeps aren't all that great and sometimes have shoddy workmanship and servicing, parts would be a biatch too. so i'm opting for a mitsubishi jeep which would be cool too.
