Will the manifold and/or intake off of a '92 cherokee 4.0 H.O. fit on an '89 comanche with a 4.0 renix?
-
no
-
can it be made to work?

I think so, I believe there were some different bolt hole locations or something. It can certainly be done, but I don't think there is any benefit to it.

Thanks Darcy.
So what are the chances someone has a decent renix manifold for cheap? As mine is about split in half and I don't think any amount of JB weld is going to hold it together well enough for me. :D

I have one or two extras, but I'm in BC :( Should be lots at pick N pull though.

Thanks Darcy.

Check with Waytec...he's planning to swap out his sometime. Not sure if someone is taking it or not.

uh, just a shot in the dark here but why dont you swap to a 7120 Head and use a 97+ up intake and exhaust? the head is a direct swap...many stroker builders use the same setup..except, its usually an aftermarket header instead of the stock one...a good replacement is a mopar stainless header and will bolt right up to a 7120 head...(even has that stupid coolant sensor in the head) ...you do have options, you arent limited to just the renix head but there are some mods and homework that have to be done...Im sure there are alot of people here with answers though.

Well the manifold on my '89 comanche is shot (cracked alomost all the way around) and i have the manifold off a '92 cherokee thats in nearly perfect shape, trying to be economical :D

So with minor modifications the maniflod off a H.O. can be made to work.
