I saw a Jeep at jeepstuff that was on a fullsize bronco frame. I was wondering how hard it would be to put a jeep body on a bronco. I just think that having a big V8 is the way to go then the inline 6's that jeeps have. I would work on the jeep body in a garage, painting it and sandblasting all the rust off, while driving the bronco.

I don't know how hard this would be to do, but there are alot of people that have put a V8 into a jeep and that seems to work ok. Even though I personally think stroking a 4.0L would be the easier way to go, with maybe a turbo or supercharger.
A stroked blown 4.0L would make awesome power :twisted:
Using the Bronco frame and drive train you would lose all the jeep advantages, light weight, smaller turning radius, top free driving etc.
If the only interest was mud bogging with huge horsepower and tires, this may be a good idea, and any jeep body certainly looks better than the Bronco.

I know a guy running a CJ body on a blazer or jimmy frame, can't remember, but he is running 44" boggers with a 383 stroker and D60/70 combo. So it can be done.
But I would agree with Ian and just put a V8 in a Jeep frame
