Title: YJ Gas Tank

I need to remove my gas tank skid plate on my YJ but in reading the service manual I was not sure if I could just remove the plate or if the tank came with it.  Can someone please fill me in

THe tank comes with.  It is straped into the skid plate.  you will probably have to unscrew your filler neck from the tub to allow the tank to lower down as well.  It should fall down far enough that you can undo the staps and get the skid off the tank without having to remove the neck and lines completely.

Thanks.  Yeah I just need to fix a big ol' dent in my skid plate so I don't need to remove the whole tank if I don't need to
