I might buy some 15X8, 3.75 BS rims for my YJ and was wondering if the 31X10.5 tires I have now would fit all right and look right.
Thanks

Without at least a 2" lift you will rub, especially when flexing it up. I have that size rim and tire and I still rub my flares in the rear (2.5" lift), but I do need wider flares. The 3.75 BS has the larger tires sticking out quite a bit.

Sorry I have a 4"lift so thats not a problem. Have stock rims right now. I plan on going to 33x10.5 or 12.5 in the future. I just don't know if I like the tires out that much. Maybe a little more stable off road?

Ah, got it. Here, I dug up this pic of my YJ on 31x10.5 TRXUS MTs, with 3.75"BS rims. It shows pretty well what you can expect as far as tire width.

I have 31x10.5 TRXUS MTs with a 2" budget lift, they look great on my 2001 TJ. I have been told that they should not rub on the trail. I will find out on the run on Saturday. I will try them out with and without tire chains.

Thanks for the replys, I passed on those rims (for sale here actually). I'm really not a big fan of the tires sticking out from the flares.

I ran 31s on a 15x8 with 4" BS rims for a couple years, suck out a bunch but now I have rubicon flares and they are 1." wider. Still stick out slightly but A LOT better
Plus there is not rubbing on the springs. Now I am running 33x12.5 with a 3.75" BS and they rub at full turn
