Anyone with XJ lifts:
Official stock height that I have found on jeep's white sheets for the 96 & earlier XJ is 17.5" front, 17" rear (measured center of wheel to bottom of stock fender flare). +1" if it's the Upcountry model.
I recently did a lift with newly purchased RE 3.5" rear spring packs.... and just using stock shackles. I netted 5" of lift over the stock measurement. Can this be?
What I thought were 3" skyjacker lift coils, have netted me 4.5" of lift (over stock).
Anyone else out there with larger than expected lift measurements?

For the hell of it... I would be interested to hear of other's measurements from various lift packages....
Centre of wheel to bottom of stock fender flare (if you still have 'em on).

What the hell is a fender flare?
This is common Rob... 3" gets you 4-5"....
Sicko.

I have the RE 3.5 and had well over 5 at first and then it settled to about 4

A fender flare is the thing that gets in the way when squeezing past trees.... but also collects rodents at highway speeds for later campfire cookouts.
As for netting more than expected lifts? I'm surprised. One would think an advertised 3.5" lift would do... just that or less... isn't that what products are supposed to do? Under deliver.

Get out of my head Rob...
