Title: 4lo problems on tj
Post by: bgill on January 30, 2006, 11:26:29 PM
anybody have any problems with their four lo. I have an 03 rubicon with 6 inch full traction long arm lift and 1 inch body and my 4 lo keeps slipping out. Seems like the handle to put it in four lo cannot go back far enough to fully engage the 4 lo.

Check the linkage between the T-case and the shifter, maybe since the body lift it has moved the linkage and changed the angles that it works with.

A) Trim your console and tub
B) Get the AA shifter relocation bracket that relocates the shifter to a hard mount on the T-case.

Yep, shifter.

Theres a good skyjacker one that works as well. But you might find it just needs adjustment, try that first.

Your body lift should have come with a plate that corrects the shift linkage position.
