so, can't pull the codes in my 99 Ram.
why?
having some minor idle issues (almost stalled last night for no reason waiting to turn left) want to see codes before anything; 3 key turning trick revealved nothing; no codes and it didnt' read 'done' like it does in my jeeps or the last 02' ram i had. OBD scanner i borroed from neighbour didn't do anything either.
ideas?

By a different truck. It's been long enough, you're due for one...

you don't know how right you are buddy...................

More then likely a tps or something that hasnt gone bad enough to throw a code.
Not to mention, it is a dodge, and dodge wiring is junk to say the least. We've had the odd one for pool vehicles and feild trucks over the years. Every time we get one, it reminds the company of why they dont run them regularly.

Do you think it might be another idler motor issue like your old RedZed? Maybe a little throttle body cleaner could help? Do you still have the stock intake?

probably a TPS.. hasn't done it since so i presume its something like that buddy. just gonna clean it all up..........

I don't think it is the TPS, he was waiting to turn left, not right. haha JK
We will hook it up to the laptop tomorrow and see whats going on. we can always steal the TPS and MAP off my truck and see if it helps. that way you are not dumping money into sensors you don't need.
I'm doing my rear main seal tomorrow so we can play mechanic ;)
