Can anyone tell me if this can be done. I am looking for a YJ soft top but they seem to be hard to find but TJ ones are every where
Let me know thanks

last time i checked you could get a softtop from northshore for 700 to the door. might be worth a phonecall.

Anything can be done, it just takes a little imagination

for what its worth;
the actual top might work. on a pre 2000 TJ........ my moms TJ has a besttop and its identical to mine. the rear windows are different though. after 2000 they went to that funky soft top with the door frame things. (tj guys know wha ti'm referring to right?) i wouldn't try it though...
you could probalby make it work, but what kind of deal are you finding on TJ softops? the YJ ones aren't that costly aftermarket, and its all brand new............

If you buy a replacment top does it come with everything? This jeep only has a hard top right now. I am new to the Jeep scene so i have no idea what im getting into lol. I know there is a YJ top on here for 150 missing pieces??? i found one some where else for 500 complete. but if a new one is 700 and come with everything maybe thats the way to go? Any help would be great.

i'd go new.

little more than i said.
but northridge in Vancouver is pretty competitive too....... little more costly than used. but it depends. my softtop is used, and its not in good shape. it works for me though cause the jeeps a trail jeep. but the windows are dirty/scratched and i can't really see out of them......
for the extra 300 or whatnot, i'd search for a new one!
oh, and i'd sell the hardtop to cancel out the price :)
