Title: Any rim fixers?
Post by: YoungFluff03TJ on June 02, 2010, 08:03:34 PM
Anyone out there able to fix aluminum rims...the holes the lug studs go through have been eaten out. Alberta wheel wants 100 to put steel inserts in...the rims cost 120...so i bought a new one. but i would enjoy this one as a spare...the holes are not huge but its on that side of uneasy. I might tinker with it but would like some input  :)

welcome to the world of labor rates at $100  and hour.  You are best to just get a new rim.
