Title: RTI Ramp
Post by: parabs on June 14, 2010, 10:48:46 PM
This RTI ramp is intriguing to me, what does a stock tire stock suspension jeep achieve on the ramp?

It depends. The "industry standard" used to be a 20 degree ramp. A lot of modified rigs topped that out with RTI scores of 1000. They have now gone to 30 degree ramps. The club uses a 23 degree ramp if memory serves me correct.

just for you Paul ;)

stock TJ 4L on 30s. sway bars connected etc.  might have scored 400.. an IFS truck can do that, and the front doesn't even move.

for reference Paul... my YJ scored 923 and somehow won. don't know why

for cool reference;  diane/mikes rubi with a 4" and stocker tires. flexed 975. i believe the sway bar was indeed disco'd

and............................ because we all love him..............

Thanks JohnnyC!  I am very impressed with "the Pook".  That was quite the performance!
