this was posted up here a long while ago. awesome vid. makes you wonder. it really is amazing how much forestry land there is, and how little space our trails take up. how little impact our trails and our vehicles have in the big picture.

4 wheels not 2;)

I agree, its incredible how we can burn the land and water in so many other ways. Usually commercially where only a few really benefit. Talking about losing touch with the environment - who really knows it better than those who get out there and live it.  The video is a bit dated but it still has some very valid points. Trails are sustainable and have really no enduring negative impact. Yeah there are fools out there who mistreat their privilege by wheeling like idiots and causing a mess - we have all been part of projects to help clean up after them.  The reality is that after wheeling for more than 30 years the trails are still looking pretty much as they did in the early days.

CJA has done a remarkable job past and present. The 101 course is a great example. Where else can people get this "tread lightly" and responsibly focused training? I have seen a lot of good come out of the club - cleaning up after may long... bridge projects etc. Keep up the good work!
