Title: 'Rod' between ignition cylinder and ignition switch '03 TJ

I busted the rod that goes between the ignition cylinder and the ignition switch. It is not an aftermarket thing, and I can't get it without the whole steering column. One gentleman offered to sell me one for $100. Wanting to know if this seems right, or if there are some better ideas out there. I'm new, so please be gentle. Thanks so much!
