Title: allen wrench size - pre 90 yj caliper pins

to remove pads book says to remove the two pins using allen wrench - pins have the little rubber sleeves over them

anyone know the size

I just did some. Its common enough, nothing special. 10mm or 3/8's comes to mind, but I dont remember exactly.

Buy one of those cheap crappy tire allen socket cases for 10 bucks. Its in there.

Rebuilt - painted mine last weekend - they are 7 MM

7mm is a bit of a odd size. I had to go out and buy one especially for doing brakes on my '89 XJ. None of the allen key sets I had included a 7mm.
