I get all my stuff @ western electric just cause it's close to blackfoot.  home depot and such has all that as well but never price compared.

Ecole, just not sure if they will sell to anybody.  You may need a company name or an account to buy from them.

If you are wiring a rented place make a 220 extension cord, buy the ends and cord and just plug it into the stove or dryer plug.  Landlord wont get mad at you!  plus then the welder is mobil!

Agreed.

I did something similar for my Dad..... but he uses the dryer plug in his cabin.  I bought SJO (might have been SJOO can't remember) got it from Anixter Cable just south of the Airport.

I picked up a 50 foot welding extension cord from PA for $100.00 about a month ago.  Hard to make one for that price.

I haven't used mine yet but they seem to be of decent quality.
The nice thing about PA is they will always take it back if you don't like it.

I'm using a PA extension cord right now. Nice cords actually. 50 Amp with LED lit ends. Just as good as any I use at work.
