Title: JB weld
Post by: Waytec on August 15, 2010, 07:30:03 PM

Do you think JB weld can fix this. I was reading it will bound to anything and be just as strong if not stronger.

What part of your rig is that? I can't quite tell.

Are you going to be able to make camping on the trail?  :o

The don't know what went first but the connecting rod is broke off the piston and there is a big piece of cam shaft sitting in the oil pan as well.

how in hell is your cam shaft sitting in your oil pan that would mean it went down through your head and your block and all your valves would be in there as well

you might mean you crank shaft is sitting in your oil pan

well you did her well thats for sure

Don't bother Aaron. Just duct tape the hell out of the pan and toss in some Mechanic-in-a- can. All good.

sucks aaron, this happened to me years ago on my first 4.0L. lucked out and found a low mileage unit. strip it down, keep anything that may be handy in the future. keep the head if it wasnt damaged.
