I am wanting a cheap lift either a 3" or 4" for a 1993 jeep YJ that I recently purchased. The Jeep has had its struts and shocks replaced last year so I am hesitant to have them a lift installed with shocks. Does anyone know of a cheaper way to install a lift? If so what would they be and where installs them?
Thanks

your jeep doesn't have struts ;) its leafs and shocks.
if you are bent on keeping the stock suspension stuff you could just do a 2" or 3" body lift. but body lifts suck.
if you opt for a suspension lift, you will have to go with longer shocks otherwise you will bottom out your stock ones and wreck them. it is fairly easy to lift a YJ. but, shocks will be needed with just about every option.
you can go spring over axle (google it ;) ) and that'd net you 6" or so. but will give you drivelline headaches. you can also go more modest, with a 2" by extending your shackles. or you can go with 2.5" or 4" springs which is a very good option as well.
modern or national can install the lift for you but you will pay top dollar.........

Give us a call at the shop and we can get you a quote done up, both on the lift and an install. We will match or beat any quote from a competing shop.
