Title: 2001 TJ alternator upgrads information needed

Anyone upgraded a 2001 TJ alternator.  I have a 99 Grand Cherokee but the mounts are wrong.  The 2001 has a wider base and the top mount is offset close to the middle of the alternator.  I see a lot of write ups about 97 but no 2001 model info. 
Any ideas

Check out BC4x4.com, there is an article in the tech section about upgrading the wrangler alternators with a grand cherokee one
